Whether working on routine groundskeeping or executing complex landscaping projects, you'll play a vital role in transforming outdoor areas into welcoming retreats. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas lush and healthy Operate grounds keeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers safely and efficiently Install and repair hardscape features like walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds to enhance landscape aesthetics Identify plants accurately to support horticultural health and perform plant care including pest management using pesticides responsibly Conduct seasonal clean-up activities such as leaf removal and debris clearance to maintain pristine outdoor environments Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Requirements Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment operation including power tools, mowers, and trimmers Ability to perform physical tasks requiring strength, stamina, and attention to detail in various weather conditions Knowledge of safety procedures related to equipment use and outdoor work environments Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
