Landscaper / Groundskeeper Full-Time | Year-Round | $22-$24/hour Texan Lawn Care is hiring a full-time Landscaper / Groundskeeper to maintain a small group of privately owned properties in Leander, Austin, Del Valle, and Fredericksburg . This is a unique position for someone who enjoys working outdoors and prefers working independently rather than as part of a large landscaping crew. You'll be responsible for keeping several ranch, event venue, vacation rental, and residential properties looking their best throughout the year. We provide the company truck, trailer, fuel, mower, and landscaping equipment needed for the job. What You'll Do Your work will vary by property and season and will include: Mowing and maintaining both residential and large-acreage properties Weed eating, edging, blowing, and trimming Weed and sticker burr control Maintaining landscaped areas and flower beds Brush and cedar clearing Tree trimming and fallen limb cleanup Seasonal planting and seeding Fire ant and grounds pest treatment Preparing and maintaining wildlife food plots General ranch and property cleanup Fence and gate inspections Basic equipment maintenance Identifying landscaping, irrigation, tree, fence, or other property issues Assisting with outdoor property improvement projects During slower mowing seasons, you'll stay busy with projects such as brush clearing, tree work, food plots, property improvements, equipment maintenance, and other grounds-related work. How the Position Works Our primary properties are located in Leander, Austin, Del Valle, and Fredericksburg , so regular travel between properties is an important part of this job. This is not an office-based position. Work will take place at different properties depending on the maintenance schedule, season, weather, and property needs. You'll often work independently, so we're looking for someone we can trust to manage their day, recognize what needs attention, and get the job done without constant supervision. Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work Has landscaping, groundskeeping, ranch maintenance, or similar experience Is experienced operating a zero-turn mower and other landscaping equipment Is comfortable driving a pickup and towing a landscaping trailer Can work independently and stay productive without constant supervision Is comfortable working outdoors year-round in Central Texas Is physically capable of performing landscaping and grounds maintenance work Takes good care of vehicles, tools, and equipment Has a valid driver's license and good driving record Experience with tractors, skid steers, chainsaws, brush clearing, irrigation, ranch maintenance, or wildlife habitat work is a plus.
