Job Description

Duties Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas. Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, edging, fertilizing, and weed control to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy. Use power tools and machinery like excavators for site preparation, hardscape installation, or other construction-related landscaping tasks. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure efficient watering of gardens and lawns. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible. Maintain equipment through regular inspections and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping machinery and power tools. Strong lawn care skills with a solid understanding of horticulture principles. Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, hardscape installation, or construction projects. Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes. Ability to operate heavy equipment like excavators for larger landscaping or construction tasks. Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning for health and safety reasons. Basic understanding of irrigation systems and snow plowing techniques is a plus. Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing manual labor tasks efficiently.
