Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently clearing snow and ice from designated areas to ensure safe access for vehicles and pedestrians. This role requires a strong understanding of snow removal techniques and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively. Duties Operate snow plow trucks and other equipment to clear snow from roads, parking lots, and walkways. Maintain and inspect equipment before and after each use to ensure optimal performance. Use hand tools and power tools for additional snow removal tasks as needed. Respond promptly to weather-related emergencies and prioritize tasks based on urgency. Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively. Requirements Proven experience operating snow plow trucks or similar heavy machinery is preferred. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues is essential. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy loads and standing for long periods.
