Job Description

Landscape Workshop is seeking a skilled and motivated Spray Technician to join our team in Bessemer, AL. The ideal candidate will have experience in turf management and be dedicated to providing high-quality lawn and pest care services. This role will initially support commercial maintenance properties with weeding, weed control spraying, pre-emergent applications, and growth regulator applications.
Responsibilities:
Perform lawn and pest control treatments, including fertilizer, pesticide, and herbicide applications in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. Perform weeding and weed control applications on commercial properties. Apply pre-emergent and growth regulator products as directed. Support the PHC Director and L&O team while learning proper application practices over time. Assis with identifying turf, weed, and plant health issues and commercial concerns to the PHC Director. Conduct regular assessments of client lawns to ensure optimal health and appearance. Diagnose and address common turf and pest issues, providing solutions tailored to each property's needs. Operate lawn care equipment and machinery, including sprayers, spreaders, and other specialized tools. Keep accurate records of treatments, materials used and completed tasks. Maintain equipment and report any issues to ensure all tools are safe and functional.
Qualifications:
Landscape maintenance, crew leader, spray technician, field manager, or lawn care experience preferred. Must have a pesticide license Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Employment is contingent upon adherence to our drug-free workplace policies. Ability to perform physical tasks, lift up to 50 lbs., and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
