Cash Application Supervisor
$62,000 - $70,000/year

A detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional with strong leadership skills and experience managing high-volume cash application processes.

An organized and customer-focused professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong financial controls and reporting accuracy.
What You Will Be Doing:
Supervise daily cash application processes including lockbox, ACH, wire, and other payment methods.
Monitor the accuracy and timeliness of payment postings to customer accounts and invoices.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash issues.
Collaborate with banks, internal teams, and customers to resolve remittance and payment processing issues.
Support month-end close activities and reporting for cash-related transactions.
Maintain documentation and procedures related to cash application processes and controls.
Train, mentor, and support team members while promoting consistency, accountability, and performance improvement.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
Support the credit and collections team as needed.
Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
Skills You Bring:
2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or general accounting.
Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a high-volume environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with lockbox files and banking platforms.
Familiarity with EDI, ACH, and wire payment processing.
Prior experience with deduction resolution or customer portals preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
