Full Job Description Description:

Green Country is looking for a lawn care specialist, at this point in the season, a licensed technician would be preferable but we are still willing to train the right candidate. You would be responsible for fertilizing and killing weeds on the lawn, treating pests, aerating lawns, caring for ornamental plants, and a few other miscellaneous tasks. Our technicians are the face of our company so we are looking for professionals who enjoy working with customers daily and are able to answer any questions they might have. This is a manual labor position and requires being able to walk at a fast pace, push a spreader, lift and carry 50-pound bags, etc. Please note that we do not mow lawns. We offer extensive training with an experienced and supportive team.

Experience working with fertilizer, weed control, and pesticides is preferred but

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, this is a deal-breaker. Our insurance company will not insure drivers whose license is not in good standing or who have had too many recent accidents or traffic violations. A drive to come to work every day and provide our customers with the best possible service Ability to lift/carry 50-pound bags of product and a fertilizer spreader in and out of the bed of your truck at each stop Ability to push a spreader loaded with fertilizer or drag a hose over approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of lawn, which translates into roughly 18-20 stops per day Ability to work safely and efficiently in the summer heat and spring and fall chill. Ability to safely work with different chemicals throughout the season and abide by state requirements for uniforms and other protective equipment, which is provided by the company. Must enjoy working outdoors daily Must enjoy working with customers Please note that we do not perform mowing, planting, or pruning services. You must be 18 years or older to fill this position.
