We have several field positions available for candidates that meet the job requirements. We are currently hiring Fertilizer Crew Leader, Fertilizer Technicians and Aeration Team Member. ​We pay top dollar for qualified candidates and provide year-round employment for our top performing employees. ​Must be passionate and reliable person who loves working outdoors with natural products that are safe for kids, pets, the environment. Omaha Organics is a family owned business, established in 2002. We provide natural products and services to customers in Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding areas. We promote the use of high quality, slow release natural fertilizers that are safe for people, pets and the planet. Our services include granular fertilizer programs, soil testing, soil amending, topdressing, core aeration, over seeding and more.

Responsibilities:

• Dependable and accountable every day
• Understand and apply a variety of lawn care products including (but not limited to) fertilizers and soil amendments
• Respond to customer's requests and complaints, making appropriate recommendations
• Comply with all of Omaha Organics policies and procedures
• Diagnose and report any problems on the lawns
• Must be able to work independently and with others
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness
• Up sell customers

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have a good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Able to work evenings or Saturdays as required by work load or weather
• Be responsible and on time
• Two-year degree in Turfgrass Management or related field, or turf care experience is a plus
• Possess or willing to get a Nebraska Pesticide license
• Able to drive and maneuver trucks and enclosed trailers
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds repeatedly
• Working knowledge of lawn care products and common lawn problems including weeds, fungus, insects, soil nutrients and grass types
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to operate all equipment efficiently
• Speak and communicate well with customers
• Good communication skills
• Sales experience is helpful
• Stable job history
