Responsibilities:
- Dependable and accountable every day
- Understand and apply a variety of lawn care products including (but not limited to) fertilizers and soil amendments
- Respond to customer's requests and complaints, making appropriate recommendations
- Comply with all of Omaha Organics policies and procedures
- Diagnose and report any problems on the lawns
- Must be able to work independently and with others
- Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness
- Up sell customers
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Have a good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Able to work evenings or Saturdays as required by work load or weather
- Be responsible and on time
- Two-year degree in Turfgrass Management or related field, or turf care experience is a plus
- Possess or willing to get a Nebraska Pesticide license
- Able to drive and maneuver trucks and enclosed trailers
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds repeatedly
- Working knowledge of lawn care products and common lawn problems including weeds, fungus, insects, soil nutrients and grass types
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate all equipment efficiently
- Speak and communicate well with customers
- Good communication skills
- Sales experience is helpful
- Stable job history
