Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tree Spray Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining healthy, pest-free urban and rural landscapes. Your expertise will ensure the safe and effective application of tree and plant treatments, promoting vibrant growth and protecting against pests and diseases. Responsibilities Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to reach various job sites. Use ladders and hand tools to access trees and high branches for precise pesticide application. Apply chemical agents responsibly following strict pesticide management protocols and safety procedures. Conduct thorough inspections of trees and landscapes to identify pest issues, diseases, or structural concerns. Follow integrated pest management strategies to determine the most effective treatment options. Adhere to all safety protocols, including respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures when necessary. Communicate clearly with clients to explain treatment plans, address questions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, treatments performed, and safety compliance for each job site. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, farming, lawn care, or agriculture is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of pesticide application techniques and pest control methods. Familiarity with spraying mixing chemicals, and company vehicle operation. Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly on-site. Understanding of entomology principles related to pest identification and control strategies. Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously while handling chemicals such as pesticides and pest control agents. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
