Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Responsible Certified Applicator to lead the safe and effective application of pest control treatments across various outdoor and indoor environments. This role is vital in implementing integrated pest management strategies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pesticide management, chemical handling, and environmental safety protocols, all while demonstrating enthusiasm for outdoor work and pest control solutions. Duties Safely apply pesticides and chemical agents following all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols. Conduct thorough inspections of client sites to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment plans. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, ladders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, chemical inventories, and service reports for compliance purposes. Educate clients on pest prevention strategies, including landscape maintenance, lawn care, and integrated pest management techniques. Follow confined space entry safety procedures when working in restricted or hazardous areas. Adhere strictly to respiratory protection standards and other personal protective equipment requirements during chemical handling and application processes. Skills Proven experience in pest control, pesticide application knowledge, and chemical agent handling. Strong mechanical knowledge related to land management tools, farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about pest issues and treatment plans. Knowledge of entomology principles to accurately identify pests and recommend appropriate solutions. Familiarity with ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, and outdoor work environments. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while maintaining a clean driving record. Understanding of safety protocol adherence including respiratory protection, pesticide management regulations, and environmental safety standards.
