Role Overview As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, you will be on the front lines delivering premium lawn care services to our recurring residential accounts. You will operate professional machinery, maintain service quality, and follow efficient daily routes. Key Responsibilities Equipment Transportation:
Transport commercial gear—including 30-inch Toro TimeMaster mowers and handheld power equipment—between job sites daily using your own reliable truck.
Turf & Lawn Care:
Deliver crisp, clean finishes through precise mowing, string trimming, sharp line edging, and thorough post-job blow-downs.
Bed & Shrub Maintenance:
Perform routine plant care, including shrub trimming, weed control, bed detailing, and mulch application.
Soil & Turf Enhancement:
Assist with specialized soil health services, including compost top-dressing, mechanical core aeration, and organic fertilizing.
Equipment Care:
Safely operate, clean, and perform basic pre-shift maintenance on all assigned power tools and machinery.
Route Execution:
Follow digital property checklists and optimized daily routes to ensure timely service and steady production. Qualifications & Requirements Truck Requirement (Required): Must own a dependable personal truck capable of transporting commercial lawn equipment daily.
Experience:
Prior groundskeeping or commercial landscaping experience is preferred, but we will train candidates with a strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
Technical Aptitude:
Basic understanding of small engine safety, power tool handling, and routine maintenance.
Physical Capability:
Ability to perform active manual labor outdoors in changing Texas weather conditions, including lifting and maneuvering equipment.
