This is a hands on leadership role for an experienced cultivation professional who can turn crop plans into organized daily work, lead supervisors and cultivation teams, monitor plant performance, and maintain strong quality, safety, compliance, and documentation standards. Responsibilities Lead daily and weekly cultivation work based on approved crop plans and production priorities. Guide supervisors and cultivation employees through staffing plans, work assignments, training, coaching, accountability, and clear expectations. Monitor plant health, crop uniformity, work quality, sanitation, worker hygiene, and completion of scheduled cultivation activities. Inspect plant handling, canopy work, irrigation support, crop maintenance, sanitation, and harvest preparation. Review labor needs, staffing coverage, materials, equipment, work sequencing, production records, and unresolved operational issues. Identify plant health, irrigation, environmental, pest, disease, quality, safety, labor, and workflow concerns and coordinate timely action. Maintain accurate cultivation, production, labor, staffing, and performance records. Coordinate with growing, irrigation, plant health, quality, compliance, inventory, maintenance, and human resources teams. Provide clear updates to site leadership on crop status, labor execution, risks, decisions, and corrective actions. Required Qualifications Direct experience managing commercial cannabis cultivation in a large scale greenhouse or similar controlled production environment. Experience leading supervisors and cultivation teams. Strong knowledge of cannabis plant care, crop work, sanitation, quality standards, production flow, and safe greenhouse practices. Ability to interpret crop plans, production priorities, plant data, and labor information and turn them into clear action. Ability to recognize and respond to plant health, irrigation, pest, disease, environmental, quality, and process concerns. Strong organization, professional communication, sound judgment, accountability, and attention to detail. Experience using cultivation tracking, labor reporting, inventory, scheduling, greenhouse control, compliance, or production systems. Ability to reliably report to the Camarillo Farm for every assigned shift. Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing multiple cannabis cultivation stages or greenhouse production areas. Experience with labor planning, environmental monitoring, fertigation, plant health, pest management, and harvest readiness. Experience developing supervisors, improving productivity, and building strong training and accountability systems. Professional communication in English. Spanish language ability is a plus.
Pay:
