Field Station Farms is seeking a full-time Plant Nursery Sales & Maintenance Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with plants, engaging with customers, and contributing to the daily operations of a busy wholesale and retail nursery. The primary focus of this position is sales : helping customers select the right plants, explaining care instructions, and assisting them throughout the purchasing process. When there are no customers onsite, you will help with general nursery maintenance, such as pruning, organizing stock, planting, and potting. We're looking for someone with knowledge of plants and nursery/landscape materials who can confidently interact with customers and understands the flow of nursery operations. Training is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist retail customers with plant selection and purchasing Answer questions about plant care and landscape applications Process sales transactions and maintain a tidy retail area Perform general nursery maintenance: pruning, potting, watering, and organizing inventory Assist with loading/unloading orders and deliveries Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient daily operations

Requirements:

Plant and nursery/landscape material knowledge preferred (training available) Strong sales and customer service skills Punctual, energetic, and motivated to work in both customer-facing and physical labor roles Clean driving record (no CDL required) Ability to work Monday-Friday (full-time) Must be able to perform physical tasks in outdoor conditions

Compensation & Benefits:
