Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify pest activity and entry points Apply chemical agents safely and accurately according to pesticide management guidelines and environmental regulations Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each situation, emphasizing eco-friendly solutions Operate company vehicles responsibly, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards at all times Use ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas or perform maintenance tasks Follow strict safety protocols including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection measures Communicate clearly with clients to explain treatment plans, safety precautions, and post-service recommendations Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, pest activity reports, and service visits for compliance purposes Requirements Proven experience in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate ladders safely and handle various hand tools and power tools effectively Familiarity with pesticide application techniques and pesticide management best practices Knowledge of entomology principles related to pest identification and behavior patterns Strong customer service skills with the ability to educate clients on pest prevention strategies Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods Knowledge of safety protocols including ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection, and chemical handling regulations Join us as a Pest Control Technician where your skills will make a tangible difference!
