No problem — we'll train you! United Mosquito & Fly Control is a family-owned Kansas City company with more than 20 years of success. A major part of our business is installing and servicing fly-control systems in horse barns and equestrian facilities . We're looking for a dependable, hands-on person who enjoys working independently, likes animals, and would rather spend the day in different locations than behind a desk. What You'll Do Travel to horse barns and equestrian properties throughout the Kansas City area Install fly-control systems in barns and other agricultural facilities Run and mount tubing, nozzles, pumps, and related system components Troubleshoot and repair existing fly-control systems Perform routine maintenance and seasonal service Inspect systems to ensure proper operation and coverage Spray for ants, mosquitos and other insects Communicate with customers and provide outstanding service Assist with other pest-control services as needed We'll Teach You! Previous pest-control is helpul, but not required We're looking for someone who is: Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools Dependable and willing to learn Comfortable working in and around horse barns Able to work independently and solve problems Comfortable getting dirty, dusty, and working outdoors Friendly and professional with customers A safe driver with a clean driving record Experience in maintenance, agriculture, construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, or other hands-on work is helpful, but not required.
