Responsibilities Conduct wildlife trapping operations using humane and effective methods tailored to specific species and environments Apply pest control chemicals safely following pesticide management guidelines and integrated pest management principles Operate company vehicles, farm machinery, ladders, and hand tools to access work sites and perform necessary tasks Follow strict safety protocols including confined space entry procedures, respiratory protection measures, and ladder safety procedures Handle chemical agents responsibly, ensuring proper storage, disposal, and application techniques are adhered to at all times Perform outdoor work such as lawn care, landscaping, farming activities, and land maintenance to support habitat management efforts Maintain detailed records of trapping activities, chemical usage, safety inspections, and client interactions for compliance and reporting purposes Skills Proven experience in outdoor work environments such as farming, landscaping, or land management Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate farm machinery and hand tools efficiently Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, pesticide management practices, and chemical agent handling Familiarity with pest control methods including pest identification, pest control chemical handling, and integrated pest management strategies Ability to safely use ladders and operate company vehicles while adhering to safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach when interacting with clients or property owners Understanding of safety procedures including confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection standards Basic entomology knowledge for accurate identification of pests and wildlife species This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact on property protection while working in diverse outdoor settings.
