Production Managers are a crucial component of any tree service, and we want ours to grow with us. See the job summary below for more details. About the Role As a Production Manager, you'll play an essential role in supporting our tree care operations. Working closely with upper management and field crew members, you'll not only help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work at every jobsite, you will be responsible for it. This is a vital position which requires a driven person to foster a culture that embraces safety and productivity. This position is a great opportunity for professional development, certifications, and advancement within the arboricultural field. Salary is largely dependent on experience. Responsibilities Be responsible for tree crews performing safe and proper tree care services for clients. Provide mid-level supervision to multiple crews and provide training when needed. Review and set crew schedules and work orders, and drive productivity. Brief tree crew leaders on daily work orders and conduct onsite job-start meetings. Responsible for ensuring field crews conform to regulatory and safety requirements. Be knowledgeable of proper pruning techniques, sound tree care practices, and be able to teach them. Be knowledgeable of climbing techniques, hardware, and the various systems to effectively perform tree work aloft. Maintain knowledge and proficiency with climbing techniques and equipment. Work collaboratively as part of a team, assisting management and field crews as needed. Maintain a professional image and serve as an ambassador of Ironleaf Arbor Care to clients and the public. Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, clients, and pedestrians around worksites. Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is strongly preferred. ISA Certified Arborist/Tree Climber is desired. Clean driver's license is required. CDL or ability to attain is desired. 2+ years' experience in a tree care field management role. Prior tree climbing experience is desired. Excellent situational awareness skills. Ability to perform job while keeping safety a top priority.
