Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work safely and efficiently at heights. This role involves climbing trees to perform various maintenance tasks, ensuring the health and aesthetics of our clients' landscapes. The Tree Climber will also operate bucket trucks and other equipment as needed. Duties Climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and other climbing gear to perform pruning, trimming, and removal of branches. Operate bucket trucks for high-reach tasks safely and effectively. Conduct landscape maintenance activities including lawn care and garden upkeep. Assess tree health and provide recommendations for care or removal. Utilize GIS technology for mapping and planning tree care operations. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety regulations. Experience Previous experience in tree care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with bucket truck operation is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture practices related to tree health and growth is beneficial. Experience with GIS technology for landscape planning is desirable. Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights safely.
