As a Site Coordinator for our After School Program, you will help lead the daily program experience by supporting staff, engaging students, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and ensuring the program runs smoothly each day. This position plays an important role in creating a fun, structured, and positive environment where children can learn, play, and build relationships. If you enjoy working with youth, leading a team, and creating memorable program experiences, we'd love to have you join our team! Duties Lead and oversee daily operations of the After School Program. Plan, organize, and assist with a variety of recreational activities, including games, sports, crafts, enrichment activities, and special events. Adapt activities to meet the different ages, abilities, interests, and needs of participants. Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants. Supervise youth and staff while consistently prioritizing participant safety and well-being. Provide guidance, support, and direction to program staff throughout the day. Help staff stay consistent with lesson plans, schedules, program expectations, and behavior management practices. Monitor participant behavior and address concerns using positive and appropriate behavior management strategies. Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, staff, supervisors, and other District personnel. Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development. Maintain accurate attendance records, incident reports, and other required program documentation. Identify challenges within the program and work with supervisors and staff to develop solutions and improvements. Ensure program spaces and materials are organized, clean, and prepared for daily activities. Support a welcoming and positive atmosphere that encourages participation, teamwork, and respect. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with children and youth. Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory, or program coordination role preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team of staff. Ability to effectively manage and respond to youth behavior and challenging situations. Knowledge of recreational activities, youth programming, or enrichment activities. Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, abilities, backgrounds, and interests. Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently while also being a strong team member. Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification may be required.

Pay:

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
