Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to join our team at an Adult Residential Facility in Antelope, CA. This role involves supporting adults with daily living needs in a respectful and caring environment. The position offers both full-time and on-call opportunities, providing flexible schedules for dedicated individuals committed to enhancing residents' quality of life. The caregiver will play a vital role in assisting residents with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a supportive community. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as hygiene, meal preparation, and supervision to promote independence and well-being. Support medication management by providing assistance as needed; training will be provided to ensure proper procedures are followed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Document care activities accurately and collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate resident support. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere. Respond promptly to residents' needs, including first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring safety at all times. Qualifications Ability to perform first aid and CPR; certification is preferred but training can be provided. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support adults with daily living needs. Reliable, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Prior experience in caregiving or similar roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for medication support and other specific duties. $17.50 - $25.00 per hour
