The Role As a Utility Technician, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance of our commercial kitchen equipment and location structures. You'll manage a service route, ensuring our restaurants stay safe, clean, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
Route Maintenance :
Service multiple Cook Out locations, ensuring a well-maintained environment.
Tech-Savvy Tracking :
Utilize a company tablet to record maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Preventative Maintenance :
Perform routine checks on HVAC units, filtration systems, and exhaust fans.
Facility Care :
Oversee minor lighting repairs and schedule inspections for electrical fixtures and building structures.
Team Collaboration :
Maintain strong professional relationships with Service Area Managers, office staff, and on-site restaurant teams. What You'll Need to
Succeed Experience :
A background in restaurant equipment is strongly preferred, but we will train the right candidate who has a strong mechanical aptitude.
Tools & Physicality :
Must possess basic tools and the ability to lift 50lbs or more.
Driving Record :
A valid driver's license (minimum 3 years) with a clean driving record (no major violations/accidents in the last 3-5 years).
Compliance :
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (no criminal convictions within the last 10 years). Why Join Cook Out?

Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Application Question(s): This position requires you to operate a company-issued vehicle and be on our insurance policy. Have you been convicted of any major moving violations in the past 3-5 years (speeding over 15MPH, reckless driving, DUI, etc)?
