Job Description
Experienced Tree Climber $28-$34/hour NWI Tree Service & Landscaping | New Richmond, WI Full-Time | Year-Round Work | Typically Monday-Thursday If you're a good climber, we want to give you the equipment and crew to be great at your job. We're looking for an experienced tree climber who takes pride in technical tree work and wants to work with a productive crew and equipment designed to make difficult jobs safer and more efficient. We handle everything from pruning and residential removals to technical removals and large crane-assisted jobs. What You'll Do Climbing and technical tree removals Structural and maintenance pruning Rigging and complex removals Crane-assisted tree work Work alongside experienced ground crews and equipment operators Operate lifts, skid steers, saws, and other equipment based on experience Help develop less-experienced crew members What We're Looking For Professional tree climbing experience Strong understanding of climbing, rigging, and safe removal practices Comfortable with technical and challenging removals Productive without sacrificing safety or quality Reliable and able to work as part of a tight crew Valid driver's license CDL and ISA certification are major pluses Why NWI? Typically a 4-day workweek. Our normal production schedule is Monday-Thursday, with Fridays available as needed for weather or additional work. Equipment that saves your body. We invest in lifts, grapple trucks, tracked equipment, chippers, professional climbing/rigging equipment, and use subcontracted cranes for large removals. 3-person crews. Work with a crew that knows their role and keeps the job moving. Challenging work. We aren't looking for an experienced climber just to do basic ground work every day. Opportunity to advance.
