A Tree Climber or Trimmer trims and prunes trees. Clears away excess branches near utility lines or over roads or sidewalks. Prunes dead or diseased tree limbs to improve the appearance and health of the tree. Uses rigging equipment and may work from a truck powered lift; uses chain saws and other power equipment.

Job Description

Experienced Tree Crew Member $26-$32/hour NWI Tree Service & Landscaping | New Richmond, WI Full-Time | Year-Round | Typically Monday-Thursday Good tree work shouldn't mean beating up your body with bad equipment every day. We're looking for an experienced tree crew member who knows the industry, works well on a productive crew, and takes pride in doing good work. Our tree crews are typically small 3-person crews with modern equipment and experienced team members. What You'll Do Tree removals and pruning Operate chainsaws, chippers and tree equipment Rig and assist climbers Operate skid steers, lifts and tracked equipment based on experience Work on crane-assisted removals Process brush and logs Maintain a clean and safe jobsite What We're Looking For Previous professional tree service experience Experience with chainsaws and working around heavy equipment Dependable and able to keep up with a productive crew Safety-minded Valid driver's license CDL, climbing experience or ISA credentials are a plus Why NWI? 4-day workweek. Our normal production schedule is typically Monday-Thursday, with Fridays used as needed for weather or additional work. Good equipment. Grapple trucks, tracked equipment, lifts, chippers, stump equipment, professional climbing and rigging gear, plus subcontracted cranes for large removals. Small crews. Everyone has a role and experienced team members get the opportunity to use their skills. Year-round work. This is a full-time position with year-round employment. Opportunity to advance. Pay:
$26.86 - $32.35 per hour
