The PI Vision Migration Engineer

Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a The PI Vision Migration Engineer for a Contract with a client in Chickasaw, AL. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise with OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System technologies to validate, standardize, and optimize dashboards across multiple sites.
Rate Range:
$38/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. The PI Vision Migration Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Lead the migration of legacy PI ProcessBook displays to PI Vision, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and usability are maintained. Validate migrated dashboards by verifying process data, trends, calculations, and operational KPIs against existing ProcessBook displays. Partner with process engineers, operations teams, and site stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure dashboards meet business and operational needs. Standardize visualization practices, naming conventions, navigation structures, and dashboard formats across multiple manufacturing sites. Develop and enhance PI Vision dashboards to support performance monitoring, operations management, and KPI reporting. Troubleshoot PI Vision display issues, support user acceptance testing (UAT), and document migration standards, best practices, and project progress.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing Systems, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience working with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System technologies, including PI Vision and PI ProcessBook development and support. Hands-on experience migrating PI ProcessBook displays to PI Vision, including dashboard conversion, validation, troubleshooting, and standardization activities. Strong knowledge of manufacturing process data, industrial data historians, KPIs, OEE, downtime tracking, and process visualization best practices. Pay Details:
