JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested. Monitor food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing. Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation and service procedure. Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverage to minors and intoxicated guests. Totals checks, presents to guests and accept payment Ensures customer service stations are properly stocked with paper products or beverage preparation items. Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas. Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas. Ensures proper functioning of freezers, refrigerators, and heating by routinely checking temperatures in that equipment. Stocks supplies or retail products; may inventory, order, or receive products as directed. Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
