Job Description

About the Role Elevated Asset Management is seeking a motivated, honest, and high-energy Community Manager to lead our property operations in Texas City. In this role, you are the face of the property—balancing independent business management with a hands-on, people-first approach. We are looking for a leader who balances excellent customer service with sharp business acumen. You will ensure full compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA, and local statutes, all while creating an exceptional living experience for our residents. Key Responsibilities Independent Operations & Asset Management Own the
Office:
Independently manage the daily administrative, financial, and operational activities of the property with minimal supervision.
Maintenance Partnership:
Work hand-in-hand with your Maintenance Technician to monitor a robust preventative maintenance program, ensure swift service request turnaround, and guarantee that vacant units are beautifully market-ready.
Vendor Coordination:
Receive, review, and accurately post vendor and contractor invoices into our property management software, managing local vendor relationships directly.
Financial Performance & Strategy Drive Revenue:
Achieve optimal Net Operating Income (NOI) by implementing smart cost-control measures and revenue-improvement programs.
Budgeting & Strategy:
Analyze financial statements, market trends, and historical performance to provide strategic input for the property's annual budget.
Financial Oversight:
Monitor all property income, manage delinquencies, ensure timely rent collection, and handle the accurate receipt and reconciliation of financial records within our property management software. End-to-End Leasing & Marketing Be the
Closer:
Handle the entire leasing lifecycle—from greeting prospects and effectively showing units, to screening applicants, negotiating leases, and managing the move-in process.
Maximize Occupancy:
Attract new residents through creative marketing, local advertising, and resident referral initiatives. Implement effective lease renewal programs to drive retention.
Market Alignment:
Continually evaluate pricing strategies and ensure all digital listings, websites, and printed marketing materials are accurate and compelling.
Resident Relations & Communication Elevate Service:
Build a close-knit community by ensuring prompt, professional, and friendly communication.
Problem Solving:
Act as the primary point of contact for the community, ensuring all resident concerns and customer complaints are handled promptly, fairly, and appropriately. Candidate Qualifications Core Competencies Exceptional leadership, people management, and motivational skills. Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities. A natural sales mindset with the ability to close deals and build rapport. Fluency in written and spoken English; bilingual skills (Spanish) are highly preferred. Strong intermediate math skills.
Experience & Education Industry Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily property management or a closely related field.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred.
Certifications:
Industry credentials (e.g., CPM, CAPS, CAM) are a strong plus.
Software Skills:
Proficiency with personal computers, MS Office (Word/Excel), and property management software. ResMan experience is highly preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands Schedule Flexibility:
This critical role requires a consistent schedule, including availability to work any day of the week, overtime as needed, and on-call rotations. Routine local travel (e.g., bank deposits, training) is required.
Physical Agility:
Ability to physically access all interior and exterior areas of the property. Must be able to independently lift/maneuver up to 20 lbs, and up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Environment:
Split between a professional office environment and outdoor property navigation, with seasonal exposure to weather and varied outdoor conditions.

$52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
