The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of professional architectural experience , strong technical skills, and a desire to continue developing their career while working toward architectural licensure. The Job Captain will work closely with Project Architects, Principals, consultants, and other team members to develop and coordinate architectural projects from design through construction documentation and administration. Responsibilities Assist Project Architects and Principals with the development and coordination of architectural projects. Experience in design and construction of commercial buildings Proven ability to produce and maintain accurate architectural drawings and construction documents. Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and other project documentation. Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and other consultants. Participate in design development and construction documentation. Review drawings and documents for accuracy, coordination, and completeness. Assist with responding to RFIs, submittals, and other construction administration tasks. Attend project meetings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients as needed. Help maintain project schedules and deliverables. Participate in site visits and field observations. Apply applicable building codes and project requirements to the design and documentation process. Work collaboratively with the project team to resolve technical and design issues. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program. 3-5 years of professional architectural experience. Experience working on architectural projects from design through construction documentation. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required. SketchUp, Bluebeam and Photoshop (Adobe) experience preferred. Strong understanding of architectural drawing and construction documentation. Good knowledge of building codes and architectural standards. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative project team. Candidates actively working toward California architectural licensure are strongly encouraged to apply.
