Job Description

At BSA, we design spaces that inspire and enhance healing, learning, and discovery. We are currently seeking an Architectural Designer to join our St Louis team and help create environments that make a meaningful impact on communities.
What You'll Do:
Provide support to all members of the design team. Architectural design and planning process on projects. Assist in client engagement through all processes and tools. May lead preparation of design presentation documentation, design process documentation, and working drawings. Presents portions of design to client, participate in consulting partner or design committee meetings and discuss need for modification for change. Communicates and improves all aspects of design processes with other team members.
Measurables:
Positive client satisfaction survey. Supports positive project outcomes, including meeting deadlines and quality deliverables. Develop quality project documents. Participates in all design and construction phases of projects. May "own" small projects in entirety and/or significant portions of larger projects related to project delivery. Participates in all portions of project documentation including drawings / details / specifications necessary to deliver project within assigned workplan hours. Participates in project debriefs and lesson's learned sessions
Measurables:
Positive 360 Peer Review feedback. Projects delivered within workplan hours. Positive project outcome, including deadlines, etc. Low errors and omissions on projects. Meet deadlines and manage personal utilization within project budgets. Works within assigned workplan hours and/or asks for guidance.

Education and Experience:
Design related technical degree, Bachelors or Professional degree in applicable field. 5-10 years of applicable experience. Expertise/Mastery of concepts from Designer I and II. Why BSA?
