Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as an Asphalt Raker/Labor, where you'll play a vital role in roadway projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on civil infrastructure projects, assisting with asphalt paving, road repairs, and heavy equipment operation. Your energy and attention to safety will help ensure the successful completion of construction tasks that improve our communities. Responsibilities Assist with asphalt paving and roadway construction by spreading and leveling materials using rakes and hand tools Support heavy equipment operators by preparing work zones and handling materials safely Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, shoveling, and moving construction materials in outdoor environments Operate basic construction machinery including loaders, backhoes, roller,bobcat under supervision Maintain a clean and organized worksite by disposing of debris and ensuring tools are stored properly Follow safety protocols diligently, including traffic control for work zones and proper use of personal protective equipment. Qualifications Prior construction site experience or familiarity with road construction projects is preferred but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently throughout the workday Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and mechanical systems is a plus Understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations for commercial truck driving is advantageous Experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or dump trucks is highly desirable Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and teamwork in a civil infrastructure setting Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to building safer roads and supporting community development.
