This position performs general labor in support of asphalt paving, repair, and construction operations.

Responsibilities:

The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties: Assist with pouring, smoothing, and setting asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. Shovel, rake, spread, level, and compact asphalt Prepare and clean job sites before and after work Load, unload, and move tools, materials, and equipment Work closely with equipment like tractors, mills, pavers, and screeds to ensure high-quality results. Work safely around trucks, paving equipment, and other heavy machinery Follow all company and job-site safety procedures Perform other construction-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous asphalt, paving, or construction experience preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to handle the physical demands (e.g., standing for long periods, lifting heavy loads of up to 90 lbs.) Strong hand-eye coordination Familiarity with power tools and machinery (a plus) Strong commitment to workplace safety

Work Schedule:

Full Time Monday to Friday 8 hour shift

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
