Temp-to-Hire Job Summary:

The Sit-Down Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a sit-down forklift to move beverages, pallets, and other materials throughout the warehouse and distribution center. This position supports shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, pallet movement, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, stack, stage, and transport pallets and beverage products. Safely operate forklift equipment in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution center environment. Perform daily forklift inspections and safety checks before operating equipment. Assist with shipping and receiving , including loading and unloading trucks and trailers. Move and stock pallets and products in designated warehouse locations. Pull, stage, and prepare products for shipment while verifying correct quantities. Follow all warehouse safety procedures, forklift safety rules, and OSHA guidelines .

Job Qualifications:

2+ years of recent Sit-Down Forklift Operator experience. Experience with palletized products, loading/unloading, shipping, receiving, and material handling preferred. Must be able to safely operate a sit-down forklift . Must be able to bend and twist at the neck and waist throughout the shift.
