Job Description

Straight Edge Contractors LLC is looking for experienced and dependable individuals to join our Asphalt Paving Crew . Positions Available Asphalt Rakers Experience raking and leveling hot mix asphalt Able to work around edges, joints, and transitions Understand proper grade and asphalt placement Asphalt Shovelers / Laborers Experience shoveling and spreading hot mix asphalt Assist with paving preparation and cleanup Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work Asphalt Roller Operators Experience operating asphalt rollers Understand proper compaction procedures and rolling patterns Able to work safely around paving crews and equipment Asphalt Paver Operators Experience operating asphalt paving machines Able to maintain proper speed, grade, and asphalt placement Experience working with paving crews to produce a quality finished surface Requirements Previous asphalt paving experience preferred Dependable and able to report to work on time Able to work outdoors in hot weather Able to follow Foreman/Superintendent instructions Must follow all company and job-site safety requirements Must work well as part of a paving crew Equipment operators must demonstrate their ability to safely operate assigned equipment
