PAY:

$22.00-$25.00/hr. (based upon experience)

HOURS:

Expected shifts will be approximately 8.5-hour days starting at 7:00 AM

The Block Mason will set up the work area, mix mortar, and stage concrete blocks. Responsibilities include laying out the first course of blocks using chalk lines and blueprints, applying mortar, placing and aligning blocks, installing metal reinforcement wire or rebar into block cores, and finishing mortar joints with a jointer. Employees will also clean the work area and prepare tools at the end of the day. Qualifications for

Block Mason:

3+ years of Block Mason experience Experience laying concrete blocks and applying mortar Ability to read and follow blueprints and accurately lay out courses Experience using masonry tools including a trowel, masonry hammer, level, tape measure, line blocks, masonry line, jointer, mortar hoe, and related tools Must be willing to work overtime as needed Must be able to perform job duties requiring bending, standing, climbing, kneeling, and twisting Position requires standard PPE including hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site
