Job Description
Job Summary Part-time with potential for full-time House & Hinge, LLC is a growing residential carpentry and home improvement company serving Northwest Arkansas. We are looking for a dependable, experienced part-time carpenter to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who already has a foundation in carpentry or residential construction but wants the opportunity to continue learning and expanding their skills. Our projects vary considerably, providing hands-on experience across multiple areas of residential carpentry and home improvement.
Responsibilities Typical projects may include:
Finish carpentry and trim installation Interior and exterior door installation Baseboard, crown molding, and millwork Deck construction and repairs Built-ins and shelving Cabinet installation Residential repairs and punch-list work Light drywall and home improvement work Jobsite setup, installation, and cleanup Qualifications Previous carpentry or residential construction experience Valid driver's license Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to safely use common carpentry tools and equipment Ability to accurately measure, cut, and follow project instructions Dependable and punctual Professional when working in customers' homes Ability to work effectively as part of a small crew Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to perform the physical requirements of residential carpentry work Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check Having your own basic hand tools and carpentry tools is a plus. Schedule This position will initially be part-time, with hours based on our project schedule. There is potential for the position to become full-time as our workload continues to grow. Work is primarily performed during weekday daytime hours at residential job sites throughout Washington and Benton Counties, Arkansas. Why Work With House & Hinge?
