Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of journeyman carpenter . This role is essential for ensuring the successful execution of various construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in carpentry, construction, and restoration techniques, demonstrating proficiency in both hands-on tasks and project management. Duties Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution. Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and fabrication as required by specific projects. Install fixtures, cabinets, doors, and siding while ensuring high-quality workmanship. Participate in restoration activities including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general restoration industry tasks. Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks and ensure compliance with safety standards on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience in construction with a strong background in carpentry. Familiarity with various construction techniques including roofing, flooring installation, and drywall work. Experience with management software is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project needs. Ability to lift heavy materials safely and effectively as required by job duties. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. This position requires a proactive attitude towards learning new skills within the construction field while maintaining a commitment to quality workmanship.
