In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks that support residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that construction work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in woodworking, framing, finishing, and site preparation while contributing to high-quality building projects. Paid training and ongoing development are provided to help you excel in this energetic environment. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, siding, door hanging, fixture installation, and other carpentry tasks. Prepare construction sites by performing heavy lifting, demolition, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and mold remediation as needed. Install wood construction materials such as flooring, siding, moldings, and fixtures with precision and safety awareness. Assist with remodeling projects including flooring installation, restoration work, and interior finishing. Operate woodworking machines safely for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components. Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, including power tool safety standards and proper handling of hand tools. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret construction plans and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines used in residential carpentry projects. Experience in framing carpentry, trim carpentry, siding installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and remodeling. Familiarity with building materials such as wood products, siding materials, plastering compounds, stucco mixes, rebar components, and other wood construction materials. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique to prevent injury. Knowledge of construction site safety practices including power tool safety procedures. Experience with restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or reconditioning older structures is a plus. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to ensure precise execution of work tasks. Hands-on experience with assembly work or handyman tasks that require attention to detail across multiple trades.
