Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for an skilled carpenter to join the team. The property sits on 24-acres of beachfront, 360 guest rooms, 62,450 sf of event space and 17 meeting rooms. Ideal Candidate:
2 years carpenter background Knowledgeable with hotel/building maintenance duties
Shift:
Varies - 5 shifts (AM/PM - Weekends and holidays included) each week. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Maintain and repair facility structures: Manage the upkeep of doors, windows, furniture, and other structures to ensure a well-maintained, safe environment Manage maintenance schedules: Ensure timely completion of guest room maintenance and develop preventive schedules to proactively address and maintain facility standards Execute carpentry projects: Construct furniture, signs, props, and other specialty items, supporting carpentry needs of other departments as required Maintain a clean and organized workshop: Ensure carpentry tools and equipment are properly operated, cleaned, and maintained Inspect and ensure quality: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all carpentry work meets quality and safety standards Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
