Temp-to-Hire Concrete Form Carpenter Job Description:

We are looking for experienced Concrete Form Carpenters to support commercial concrete construction projects throughout the Naples, FL area. Candidates will perform concrete construction work including slab preparation, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete placement. This is an outdoor position in hot Florida conditions. Once approved, associates will be assigned to a specific project location based on the client's needs. Qualifications for

Concrete Form Carpenter:

Previous experience as a Concrete Form Carpenter or in commercial concrete construction. Experience with slab prep, grading, leveling, and topping slabs. Skilled in building and setting commercial formwork for structural tie beams and columns. Experience constructing wood/metal forms and tying rebar steel cages. Experience working around and installing precast concrete plank/deck systems. Experience managing, directing, and placing concrete using boom and line pumps. Must be comfortable working outdoors in hot conditions. Must be able to perform job duties requiring frequent bending and lifting. Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome.

Required Tools and PPE:

Tool belt or pouch. 25-foot to 35-foot heavy-duty measuring tape. Framing hammer or 22-ounce rigging axe. Speed square or framing square. Rebar tie twister or automatic tying tool. Chalk line. Utility knife with extra blades. Torpedo level or 24-inch level. Standard framing chisel. Adjustable crescent wrench. Pry bar or cat's paw nail puller. Pencil or lumber crayon. Steel-toe work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, and heavy-duty work gloves. Additional Requirements for

Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must have reliable transportation to the assigned job site.
