This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, including residential and commercial builds, remodeling, and restoration. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in carpentry, rebar installation, and general labor tasks, demonstrating a passion for craftsmanship and safety. This position is fully paid and provides a vibrant work environment where your skills will directly contribute to high-quality construction outcomes. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures following safety standards and project specifications. Perform framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, siding, stucco, and fixture installation with precision. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, and general construction tasks efficiently and safely. Assist with remodeling projects including tile laying, door hanging, plastering, caulking, mold remediation, and water damage restoration. Handle heavy lifting and assist in the assembly of construction materials using woodworking machines and other equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to power tool safety protocols and industry best practices. Support the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to ensure project accuracy. Contribute to the installation of water-resistant materials such as siding, stucco, or drywall as needed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Extensive background in carpentry including residential carpentry, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and remodeling projects. Hands-on experience with woodworking tools, power tools for woodworking, drywall installation, stucco application, siding installation, and fixture hanging. Knowledge of rebar installation procedures within concrete structures along with familiarity with reinforcement standards. Prior involvement in restoration industry projects such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety protocols for power tools and construction materials. Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of site safety regulations including power tool safety practices. Ability to read construction plans accurately and follow detailed instructions for various building tasks. Skilled in handling multiple tasks such as tile laying or plastering while ensuring quality standards are met.
