This role involves working on various construction and renovation sites, requiring skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. Candidates may serve as Leads, Carpenters, or Carpenter Helpers, contributing to the successful completion of projects through their expertise and teamwork. The position offers flexible shifts with consistent pay rates for both day and night schedules. Duties Perform carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, installing fixtures, and other related activities Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions to ensure precise work Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards Assist in site preparation, material handling, and cleanup as needed Lead or support other carpenters and helpers on-site to ensure smooth workflow Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Qualifications Proven experience as a Carpenter or Carpenter Helper preferred; leadership experience is a plus for Lead roles Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, techniques, and safety procedures Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding manual tasks Reliable transportation outside of Seminole, FL (for per diem eligibility) Willingness to work day shifts (7am-7pm) or night shifts (7pm-7am), with the same pay rate for both shifts Ability to commit to a three-day work schedule per week (36 hours worked but paid for 39 hours including 1 hr drive time per day)
