This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your carpentry skills and heavy civil construction knowledge to deliver high-quality results. You will be involved in various phases of construction, from framing and formwork to concrete finishing and site preparation. Duties Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete structures following blueprints and schematics. Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform concrete mixing, pumping, finishing, and curing to ensure durable and precise concrete work. Carry out framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry tasks for various structures. Support excavation activities, site clearing, heavy lifting, and material handling to maintain project momentum. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans while adhering to safety standards. Conduct masonry work including stucco, tile laying, plastering, and restoration tasks as needed. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of heavy civil construction processes. Mechanical knowledge including operation of concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to civil projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for carpentry, masonry, roofing, caulking, flooring installation, and related tasks. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is preferred.
