Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction and restoration team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in various carpentry disciplines to deliver top-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects. Your hands-on experience with construction, blueprint reading, and a wide array of carpentry techniques will be essential to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in Yellowstone National Park on a challenging project that require precision, creativity, and a proactive approach. Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks on a historical building renovation Perform log work, framing, siding installation, and roofing with precision and attention to detail Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing wood materials Fabricate custom components using woodworking techniques Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines and ensuring proper use of safety equipment during heavy lifting and construction activities Skills Experience in construction and blueprint reading for accurate project performance Proficiency and experience in framing carpentry, roof framing, siding onstallation Skilled in the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, power tools ) for diverse tasks Experience with renovation and new construction Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of complex projects Heavy lifting capability combined with physical endurance for demanding construction site activities Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance in all tasks performed Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your versatile skills to impactful projects.
