Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Carpenter to spearhead our construction and restoration projects, ensuring excellence in execution and adherence to safety standards. As a vital team leader, you will oversee diverse construction activities, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, and drive project success from start to finish. Your expertise in carpentry, remodeling, and restoration will be instrumental in delivering top-quality results while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction and restoration projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope. Coordinate with clients, project managers, and team members to develop detailed plans based on blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Oversee site safety protocols, enforce OSHA standards, and promote a culture of safety among all workers. Perform or supervise skilled trades such as framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, stucco application, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, door hanging, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, metal stud framing, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fixture installation. Manage material procurement and ensure the proper use of hand tools and power tools for various tasks including fabrication and heavy lifting. Conduct quality inspections throughout each phase of the project to guarantee craftsmanship meets company standards. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, change orders, safety reports, and site logs. Experience Proven experience leading construction or restoration projects with a strong background in carpentry, pole barns and general contracting. Extensive hands-on experience with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for accurate project execution. Demonstrated knowledge of construction estimating processes to accurately assess project costs and timelines. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery (if applicable), and fabrication techniques. Prior work on construction sites involving remodeling, roofing, siding, flooring installation or related trades is highly desirable. Industry-specific experience in restoration or water damage remediation is a plus. Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards; certification in first aid or safety training is advantageous.
