Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Female Furniture Carpenter to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will bring craftsmanship, precision, and passion to the creation and installation of custom furniture pieces. Your expertise will help transform design concepts into beautiful, functional furniture that meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute furniture designs. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish furniture components. Install custom furniture fixtures, cabinetry, and trim in residential settings with attention to detail and safety. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of wood construction materials, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Apply caulking, stucco, or other finishing techniques to achieve seamless surface finishes on furniture or related structures. Conduct rebar installation or masonry work as needed for structural support or restoration projects. Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to power tool safety standards and industry best practices. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry, woodworking, or furniture construction with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with construction estimating, reading blueprints, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with woodworking machines, metal stud framing, fixture installation, and mold remediation is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction site procedures including heavy lifting, safety protocols for power tools, and working on various construction plans. Background in restoration industry work or handyman services adds valuable insight into diverse project requirements. Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on precision craftsmanship in framing, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation. Strong understanding of wood construction materials such as plywood, MDF, hardwoods, and related hardware.
