Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks that contribute to the successful completion of commercial tenant finish projects. Your energy, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise will help us deliver high-quality craftsmanship on time and within scope. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment while contributing to meaningful building projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Utilize hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, assemble, and install various wood and metal components. Perform framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and door hanging, tasks with precision. Operate construction equipment safely for heavy lifting, fabrication tasks, and material handling while adhering to power tool safety standards. Install fixtures such as cabinetry, doors, windows, moldings, and other building components following construction plans. Support site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Prior construction experience with residential carpentry or general contracting is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with construction estimating is a plus but not mandatory. Familiarity with wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, drywall sheets, siding materials, and related products. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols including power tool safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
