Carpenter / Laborer

As a Construction Laborer, you'll contribute to safe, efficient job sites while gaining valuable experience across various construction disciplines. Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing work to ensure project progress. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks like cutting, drilling, and assembling materials. Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow. Perform heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, concrete, and building supplies while maintaining safety protocols. Support concrete work including mixing, pouring, concrete to meet project specifications. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and assist in accurate execution. Follow safety guidelines diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure work environment. Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of construction tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights when necessary. Familiarity with building techniques such as, framing, carpentry (fencing and decks) and flooring installation. Skills in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate task execution. Knowledge of specialized skills including concrete work, tile laying, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, restoration work, are advantageous. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials or equipment. Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and teamwork orientation.
