Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all structures are built to precise specifications and safety standards. Your expertise in interpreting construction plans, handling various hand and power tools, and working efficiently on-site will be vital to delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately to guide project execution. Perform framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, siding, flooring, cabinet and fixture installation with precision. Use hand tools and power tools safely for woodworking, metal stud framing, concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and masonry tasks. Operate woodworking machines and CNC equipment for fabrication and custom carpentry projects. Assist with restoration efforts including water damage remediation, mold remediation, rebar installation, and heavy lifting as needed. Install doors, windows, cabinetry, fixtures, siding, and other building components following safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to all safety regulations such as power tool safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high quality standards. Support site inspections for quality control and ensure compliance with construction codes and industry best practices. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or general contracting projects. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for diverse construction tasks. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, masonry tools, drywall installation equipment, and woodworking machines. Knowledge of metal stud framing, concrete forming techniques, plastering, stucco application, caulking, siding installation, flooring installation, and fixture mounting. Familiarity with restoration industry processes including water damage restoration and mold remediation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout complex projects. Prior experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety procedures related to power tools and construction materials. Certification or training in power tool safety is preferred but not required; ongoing training will be provided as needed. $20.00 - $31.92 per hour
