Emergency Restoration is looking for an experienced carpenter to help with rebuild work after water, mold, and fire remediation projects. This is a 1099 contract position with flexible work depending on project volume. Some weeks may be full-time, some may be part-time, and weekend work may be available for contractors who want it. Jobs are generally on the North Shore and in Boston.

Pay:

$25-$45 per hour, depending on experience.

Work may include:

Drywall repair and installation Finish carpentry and trim work Flooring installation and repair Tile work Cabinetry Light plaster work Rebuilding damaged rooms after remediation Helping move equipment, remove containment, and keep job sites clean Ideal candidate: Has a broad range of carpentry and rebuild experience Is comfortable with finish work and detail-oriented repairs Has reliable transportation to jobs on the North Shore and in Boston Has at least some of their own tools Is dependable, professional, and able to work independently Can regularly lift 50-60 lbs when needed Is willing to take jobs as they become available This is a good fit for a skilled, reliable carpenter who has seen a variety of job types and can handle different rebuild tasks without needing constant direction.
