Job description Congress Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role supports a variety of commercial projects and offers an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with general carpentry tasks including framing, blocking, trim, and finish work Perform job site setup, cleanup, and material handling Support skilled trades and project teams as needed Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently Follow direction from site supervisors and adhere to project schedules Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Qualifications:
5+ years of carpentry experience Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials Ability to read plans is a plus Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, customer driven environment Must possess superior organizational skills Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Must have valid driver's license, reliable transportation and a good driving record.
