Job Description

Overview Embark on an exciting journey as a Carpenter Apprentice, where you will gain hands-on experience and develop foundational skills in the carpentry trade. This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals while contributing to diverse construction projects. Our work will focus entirely on the interior remodel of homes. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in construction and carpentry, laying the groundwork for a rewarding career. Responsibilities Assist senior carpenters in performing various construction tasks across multiple projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Support framing, trim carpentry, and door hanging activities by handling hand tools and power tools with proper technique. Participate in blueprint reading sessions to understand project specifications and assist in fabricating components accordingly. Support fixture installation, cabinetry setup, flooring installation, tile laying, and electrical or plumbing rough-ins as directed by supervisors. Experience No prior professional experience required; however, familiarity with construction sites or hands-on work with tools is advantageous. Basic understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and construction estimating is preferred but not mandatory—training will be provided. Experience with heavy lifting, working on scaffolding, and operating various hand and power tools is beneficial. Previous exposure to remodeling projects can enhance your ability to contribute effectively. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn new skills, and a commitment to safety standards throughout all tasks performed.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
